The Pro-Kind Initiative, which is an initiative to support TREAT to TARGET approaches in childhood rheumatic diseases just received a 1.000.000 grant from the german federal government to investigate the outcome of 500 children with rheumatic diseases that are treated with specified, evidence based stratified protocols. The grant was submitted under the consortial leadership of Klaus Tenbrock (UCAN-AC) together with Kirsten Minden and Jens Klotsche (both DRFZ Berlin), Dirk Föll (University of Münster) and Gerd Horneff (St. Augustin). Alle pediatric rheumatologic centers in Germany will participate.
